The Sheridan County GIVE program is the successor of the (RSVP) program. It is a local program now available to all ages.
The mission of the G.I.V.E. for Sheridan County Volunteer Program is to encourage all Sheridan County residents to use their time, talents and experiences to assist in meeting critical needs of the communities served. A primary part of G.I.V.E.'s mission is to educate the community on the valuable services that its volunteers provide in their communities; and to provide volunteers with the recognition they so richly deserve.
G.I.V.E for Sheridan County invites citizens of all ages to use their experience and skills to answer the call to service in their communities. Volunteers perform many functions such as staffing local museums and aiding those in need. Volunteers provide assistance and support to patients and their families in hospitals and nursing homes and assist our youth by providing tutoring for students. This website is a result of time donated by G.I.V.E. volunteers.
If you would like to join our program fill out the G.I.V.E. Enrollment Record found here or at Facebook page G.I.V.E. For Sheridan County, and present it to Jeanette at 111 N. Main St., Rushville or mail to P. O. Box 429, Rushville. Give them a call at 308 327-5630 for more information.
