For the preceeding budget year (2014 - 2015) Sheridan County used $192,273.70 of inheritance tax dollars to reduce property taxes.

For Budget Year 2015 - 2016 the Road Department budget will be supplemented by about $815,353.00 from the Highway Trust Fund (Gas Tax).
For Budget Year the Road Department budget will be supplemented by about $7,480.00 from the ** Highway Bridge Buyback Program (HBP).
** HBP funds are to be used solely for the construction, reconstruction, improvement, repair or non-routine maintenance of public bridges.
For Budget Year the Road Department budget will be supplemented by about $93,295.00 from the * Highway Street Buyback Program (STP).
