RETRAX™ tonneau covers are manufactured from polycarbonate, a durable thermoplastic commonly known as LEXAN®. The rigid, one piece sheet has excellent impact resistance and is unharmed by sun, moisture or temperatures from -50 to +200 degrees Fahrenheit and is engineered to retract without joints or hinges that can trap dust, wear out, or freeze. The maintenance-free cover is UV treated for years of protection from the sun. Reinforced with up to 20 tempered aluminum support beams embedded every 4 3/4", the cover can easily support heavy snow loads.
 

The rigid design of the RETRAX™ improves the aerodynamics of your pickup. Input from RETRAX™ users indicate that gas mileage should improve by approximately 10% on the highway with the cover closed.

The secure key-lock system offers protection that no soft cover can. To facilitate convenient use with a fifth-wheel or unlimited hauling flexibility the cover can be locked open in any position along the rail. Release the flush-mounted latch with the touch of a button and one hand easily slides the cover out of the way for easy access to your truck bed.
 

You will immediately be impressed at the way a RETRAX™ smoothly glides back and forth with just one hand. Sealed ball-bearing rollers mounted onto the aluminum support beams allow the cover to retract or close effortlessly without the use of springs or any kind of mechanism; no moving parts to jam, freeze or fail. A unique spiral track system prevents the cover from rubbing on itself as it retracts and closes eliminating wear-and-tear on the cover.

Short bed pickup owners with appreciate the Powertrax Electric Retractable Pickup Bed Cover. Just touch a button on the remote key fob to open or close the cover, which locks in any position along the rail.
