William Arthur Tyler Jr. was born June 27, 1909 to William Arthur Sr. and Sophia Wilhelmenia (Ashberger) Tyler in Lakeside, Nebraska.

He died June 18, 1913 probably from an illness as he and his sister, Ellen Virginia, died within a period of 8 days.

The two siblings were first buried at the "Tyler" Cemetery south of Lakeside and later moved to the Lakeside Cemetery.
