Frances Elaine Phillips was born October 7, 1897 to Andrew Jackson and Nancy (Hieronymus) Cook in Longwood, MO.

She married Floyd Phillips February 21, 1916 in Oshkosh, Nebraska

She passed away November 30, 1961 at the St Joseph's Hospital in Alliance, Nebraska

She was a member of the Lakeside Methodist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxillary, the Alliance Navy Mothers, and the Alliance Rebekah Lodge.

She was survived by her husband; two sons; Ralph and Francis "Hal"; a step-daughter Evelyn Custer; two brothers, Leonard Cook and Charles Cook; two sisters, Katherine Card and Lottie Johnson and four grandchildren.
