Gary A Peterson was born July 19, 1949 to Carl Arthur and Reva (Flowers) Peterson in Alliance, Nebraska.

He married Junelle Joyce Tibben August 1983 in Lakeside, Nebraska

He passed away June 16, 1996 in Hastings Nebraska

He graduated from Alliance High School in 1967. He also was a graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Technical Agriculture in Curtis and the University of Arizona at Tucson.

He had ranched near Alliance, worked for the Sheridan County Road Department, was a Nebraska brand inspector, and worked at the Meat Animal Research Center at Clay Center. His most recent employment was with Orscheln Farm and Home Store in Hastings. He was a member of Lakeside Methodist Church, EMD and member of Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department. FFA Alumni, UNSTA Alumni, American Quarter Horse Association and National Rifle Association.

He was survived by his wife at the home. Other survivors are his mother, Reva Flowers Morgan, Alliance: sisters. Connie Seidler of Alliance and Ronda Peterson of Denver: and brother. Rex Peterson, Yarmouth Port, Mass.

His father and brother Jack proceeded him in death.
