Eliza E Nye was born April 25, 1927 to Joshua Bryant and Gail Lee (Mitchell) See in Crook Colorado.

She married Jack Nye May 6, 1968 in Gering, Nebraska

She died February 10, 1986 at her home in Lakeside, Nebraska where she had lived for two years.

She was survived by her husband, of the home; seven children, Judy Reynoldson, Tyler Staman, Teckla Naab, Hap Staman, Holly Coker, Lissa Wangler, and Tonita Rupp; a stepdaughter, Coni Helgoth; 29 grand and two great-grandchildren. Her first husband, a grandson and two brothers preceded her in death.
