Emma Asenath Gaunt was born August 24, 1916 in Alliance, Nebraska to Frank and Stella (Mastin) Westover.

She graduated from Lakeside High School in 1932 and moved to Los Angeles, California where lived for 34 years prior to returning to Nebraska in 1970. She married John Elmer Gaunt November 5, 1934 in Sterling Colorado. John preceded her in death October 23, 1973.

Emma passed away June 19, 1999 at Highland Park Care Center. Graveside Services were held at 2 p.m. June 22 at the Lakeside Cemetery, Rev. Mark Schutt officiating. Burial was in the Lakeside Cemetery.
