Minnie Ella Shaw was born October 7, 1924 at Lakeside, Nebraska to Harry and Bertha (Tyler) Hudson.

Ella passed on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at Good Samaritan Health Care Center in Alliance, Nebraska at the age of 83.

Funeral services were held Friday, Jan. 4, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Alliance with Pastor Jim Rowe officiating.

She married Raymond George Shaw at the Drake Hotel in Alliance on June 11, 1943.

Survivors include her sons and daughter, David (Marilyn) Shaw of Alliance, Gene (Frances) Shaw of Lakeside; Carl Shaw of Bridgeport, and Ellarae (Gary) Watson of Granby, CO. Survivors also include, 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren, her aunt Marion Hudson and numerous cousins.

Ella was a member of the First Baptist Church where she had served on the Board of Trustees. She was involved in both the Good Sam Camping Club, and Four Runners Camping Club of Box Butte County.

She worked as the ranch cook for the Hall Cattle Company for 25 years, and was preceded in death by her husband, parents and an infant brother Harold.
