Board of Equalization Minutes - Tuesday, September 13, 2022

The Sheridan County Board of Equalization met in regular session and by Zoom Passcode# 625274) at 9 A.M. on September 13, 2022. All members present. Messersmith stated that the meeting would be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Nebraska Open Meeting Act. This meeting was posted on the official website and published in the Sheridan County Journal Star on September 7, 2022. 

Krotz made a motion to accept the agenda. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. 

Kling made a motion to approve the minutes of 8-23-2022. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. 

County Assessor, Tina Skinner presented correction sheets for Terry & Kristine Nelson. Kling made a motion to approve correction #157 on parcel ID810267724 establishing a new parcel due to it being put on the incorrect one. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. 

Krotz made a motion to approve correction #158 on parcel ID810030942 removing the tax from the incorrect parcel. Kling seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. 

Kling made a motion to approve correction #159 on parcel ID810267725 accelerating the tax on the mobile home because it has sold and is moving to another location in Sheridan County. Krotz seconded the motion. With a roll call vote all voted aye. 

Skinner informed the board that 6283 post cards have been printed and mailed to tax payers to satisfy the requirements of LB 644.
