In addition to our online newsletter a guest book has been created. You may leave a comment or a question there and a notification will be sent alerting us that we have a message to view. Please check out the web page and tell us what you think or would like to see added. (There is a lot more at nebrsites.com feel free to check it out!)
Our Eden journey has inspired us to not only have working relationships with each other, but to value each other as individuals who have a life away from the Manor. It is much more difficult to be critical of someone when you know what other pressures or trials they may be enduring. We can best help our elders by being kind and considerate of each other. Sharing fun together with our families is a great way to develop those relationships.
By the time you read this our first staff, family, and elder fun day will be |
| history! I can report it was a great day and enjoyed by all who attended. My best guess is that watching the children was the highlight of the day. There were several wading pools, a water slide, and an obstacle course set up for the Manor Olympics. Of course where there is water and “children” (that includes some past the normal definition!) someone always gets wet! I was no exception. Since the dunk tank sprang a leak, other means were taken to fulfill the agreement that I could be dunked by the person who sold the most tickets in a recent raffle. Stacy Reasoner won that honor and completed her task with success!
Again, please check out our website and if you wish, you may choose to not have us send you the newsletter by mail. Just drop a note to Tracy Space and ask her to remove your name from the mailing list.
