Source Water AssessmentThe Source Water Assessment for The source of drinking water for Cattleman's Restaurant
comes from 1 groundwater well. The area within 100 feet of the
well is considered the Wellhead Protection Area. Sources of
contamination within this area have a greater chance of
impacting the water supply and are able to do so in a shorter time
than potential contaminants farther away. Potential contaminant sources
include above or below ground storage tanks, livestock facilities,
abandoned or private wells, landfills, etc. Whether or not
your drinking water source is vulnerable to contamination depends
on the proximity of potential contaminants to the well, whether
potential contaminant sources are properly managed to prevent
them from entering the water supply, and the structure and
maintenance of the well itself.
